Senior iOS Developer (Onsite)

We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer with strong expertise in secure coding and mobile UI/UX design. In this role, you will lead the development of high-quality iOS applications, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers, driving innovation and excellence in mobile development.

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States. (On Site)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of robust and responsive iOS applications.
• Implement secure coding practices to protect user data and ensure app integrity.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
• Mentor junior developers and promote continuous learning within the team.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance.
• Optimize app performance and security using native iOS tools and techniques.
• Integrate backend services and data sources to enhance app functionality.
• Review code for quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Design scalable iOS architecture to support future growth and enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Manage tasks and coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery.
• Stay current with iOS development trends and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to user engagement and satisfaction through innovative app features.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in secure coding for iOS applications.
• Strong skills in mobile UI design and development.
• Proficiency in iOS testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Expertise in Swift, Objective-C, and native iOS development tools.
• Experience with data integration and code analysis.
• Solid understanding of scalable iOS architecture and design patterns.
• Domain knowledge in Payer (healthcare or insurance) is a plus.

Certifications Required:

• Certified iOS Developer
• Secure Coding for iOS Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be received by Jul 25th, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $80K$110k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
