We are seeking a seasoned Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer to join our vibrant team in Alcoa, TN. Salary: $100,000 to $125,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and technical expertise across all aspects of high voltage electrical systems including design, maintenance, and safety compliance.
Offer continuous engineering support to maintenance and operations teams, aiding in the optimization of production efficiency.
Identify and solve recurring design and application problems, and support in the development and maintenance of engineering documentation and training materials.
Develop, oversee, and execute capital projects, from conceptualization to commissioning, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
Manage and mentor teams involved in the implementation of engineering solutions, championing safe work practices and effective communication.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Over 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with high voltage and 480VAC power distribution systems.
Proven track record in leading and managing extensive electrical projects including planning, installation, and commissioning stages.
Strong capability to coordinate with external vendors for obtaining necessary electrical design and support services.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of specific experience in electrical engineering concerning high voltage equipment and production systems.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software for designing and detailing engineering projects.
In-depth knowledge of installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical power systems and associated hardware such as transformers, switchgear, and substations.
Proficiency in world-class manufacturing principles like lean manufacturing, JIT, SPC, and TQM, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information.
