Senior Food Scientist

Our client, a leader in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a Senior Food Scientist to join their team. As a Senior Food Scientist, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting innovative beverage solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Food Scientist
What's the Job?

• Develop new beverages including juices, cocktails, teas, and sauces from concept to shelf.
• Manage the research, formulation, and duplication of new products.
• Conduct lab and sensory analysis, and perform market product evaluations.
• Set ingredient product specifications and prepare final product formulations for testing and approval.
• Train and mentor other scientists on flavor development and sensory analysis.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a food laboratory environment, specifically in beverages.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze sensory results and perform yearly sensory training.
