The Senior Engineering Analyst position is based out of our Clinton Clean Energy Center in Clinton, IL.

The expected salary range is $111,600 to $118,000, depending on experience.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

As a Senior Engineering Analyst, you will engage in advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations. You will be responsible for making technical decisions, leveraging your excellent knowledge of functional disciplines and familiarity with industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide extensive technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
• Offer technical consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system issues directly.
• Oversee engineering tasks with initial or complete management of engineering challenges.
• Carry out engineering and technical assignments directed by supervision, applying fundamental engineering principles.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of work, while maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria and codes.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
• Propose equipment, new concepts, and techniques aimed at improving performance, reducing costs, correcting design flaws, or ensuring compliance with evolving codes and regulations.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as required by company policy or management direction, including emergency response duties and support for outage activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) with a minimum of 5 years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR
• Associate's degree in a technical field with at least 7 years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR
• High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of nuclear or related experience, including 5 years at the exempt level.
• Knowledge of engineering processes and systems relevant to your specific functional area.
• Ability to maintain necessary access requirements, and pass favorable medical examinations or testing as per position responsibilities.

This position is part of the Rapid Response Team, focusing on Component Level Expertise, Predictive Technology Analysis, and Troubleshooting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Electric Motors and Circuit Breakers.
• Familiarity with Pumps and Compressors.
• Knowledge of Vibration Analysis.
• Experience in Oil Analysis.
• Motor Winding Analysis expertise.
• Diesel Engine Analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting Rotating Equipment.
