Senior Consultant for Provider Success in Value-Based Care

This role requires associates to work in an office setting 1 - 2 days per week in either Atlanta or Columbus, fostering collaboration and connectivity while allowing for flexibility to promote productivity and work-life balance. To be considered, candidates must reside in Georgia and be willing to travel to provider locations throughout the state at least 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

• In-Depth Provider Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of provider practices to gauge their capabilities in value-based care and identify areas for growth.

• Ongoing Consulting Support: Engage in a continuous cycle including assessment, analysis, strategy formulation, implementation, and results monitoring tailored for each provider.

• Implementation Assistance: Work closely with providers to execute focused action plans aimed at enhancing population health management, patient satisfaction, and optimizing quality and cost performance.

• Leading Collaboration: Facilitate meetings with provider staff and internal stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned and successfully implemented.

• Educational Programs: Design and deliver customized learning opportunities to support providers in effectively executing recommended interventions.

• Technology Training: Educate providers on leveraging proprietary tools and data to enhance their performance metrics, ultimately driving effective care delivery.

• Data Monitoring: Use data analytics to continuously track and assess key performance metrics for assigned providers, supporting informed decision-making.

• Thorough Documentation: Maintain accurate records of action plans, interventions, and all provider activities through Salesforce to ensure comprehensive reporting.

• Relationship Building: Develop and sustain strong partnerships with physicians, providers, and healthcare systems to support financial and quality improvements within health plans.

• Strategic Advisory: Provide counsel to executives on segment-specific strategies regarding financial performance, incentive programs, quality management, and operational areas impacting provider success.

• Independent Judgment: Exercise independent decision-making on complex issues, evaluating various factors to determine the best action courses with minimal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree coupled with a minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

• Demonstrated consulting experience in the healthcare industry.

• Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial plans is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of value-based care principles and practices.

• Exceptional analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data to inform strategic conclusions.

• Experience with Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms is advantageous.
