The Senior Compensation Analyst is essential to shaping the organization's compensation strategies. This role is pivotal in collecting, analyzing, and maintaining compensation data to support competitive pay practices. You will assist in program administration, provide analytical insights to leadership, and collaborate with business teams to ensure pay structures align with the company's objectives. Depending on our needs, you may support various client groups or specific business areas.

• Analyze compensation data to maintain competitive pay structures in the retail market.
• Facilitate the administration and adjustments of hourly wage rates in sync with business strategies.
• Provide insightful compensation analysis and recommendations to business leaders.
• Develop and maintain compensation models using Excel, emphasizing data accuracy and trend analysis.
• Conduct thorough research on industry salary trends, incentive programs, and market benchmarks to guide retail compensation decisions.
• Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for HR, leadership, and business teams.
• Assess cost implications, create recommendations, and formulate strategies for implementation.
• Assist in the development of salary frameworks, incentive programs, and equity-based compensation models alongside other senior analysts.
• Monitor competitor pay practices and compile recommendations for leadership review.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, finance, and other business teams to support compensation-related initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Provide administrative and analytical support for cross-functional compensation initiatives.
• Create compensation-related communications, reports, presentations, and training materials for internal stakeholders.
• Manage compensation-related email inquiries and perform other associated tasks.
• Execute additional responsibilities as required to support compensation strategies and business objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis, HR analytics, financial analysis, or relevant analytics fields.
• Expertise in Excel (including pivot tables and formulas) and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of presenting data insights clearly.
• Proficient in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, PHR, SPHR) are preferred.
• Experience with compensation surveys, benchmarking tools, and HR systems is preferred.
• Basic understanding of federal and state labor laws related to compensation in retail settings is preferred.

This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required from Tuesday to Thursday at BJ's Club Support Center and remote work available on Monday and Friday.

In compliance with Pay Transparency requirements, the pay range for this position starts from $90,000.00, taking into account various factors such as location, education, experience, and qualifications.
