Salary Range: $34.50 - $57.00
Job Summary
As a Senior Clinical Engineer, you will provide advanced technical support to healthcare practitioners in a dynamic surgical environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing the integration and optimization of cutting-edge clinical technologies used in surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure the safe, effective operation of complex systems such as surgical navigation and robotic-assisted surgery platforms, as well as integrated operating room systems and patient monitoring devices.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a primary technical expert and liaison among clinical staff, biomedical engineering, IT, and external service providers.
- Lead the planning, acquisition, and implementation of clinical technology while contributing to capital equipment decisions and long-term strategic planning.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time, especially during surgical procedures, and conduct root cause analyses for any adverse events involving clinical technologies.
- Support preventive maintenance and perform minor repairs, coordinating emergency responses as needed.
- Develop and deliver innovative training programs to clinical staff to ensure safe and proficient use of surgical technologies.
- Contribute to policy development, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Additionally, the following experience is preferred:
- Two years of experience with medical equipment, including equipment testing and quality control/quality assurance.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar qualifications.
