Job Summary

As a Senior Nursing Assistant (NA), you will deliver personalized nursing care and daily living assistance to residents in our long-term care facility under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your expert-level experience will support both residents and staff, emphasizing infection control and high-quality care.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting residents with basic health and personal care needs.
• Implementing proper techniques for transferring and repositioning residents.
• Ensuring a positive dining experience for residents during meals.
• Documenting resident interactions and reporting changes in their condition to nursing staff.
• Maintaining cleanliness in residents’ living areas.
• Promoting participation in wellness and recreational programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16, with two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State Board of Nursing.
• Annual completion of department-specific competency testing and 12 hours of continuing education are mandatory.
• May include completing Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.
• Driver responsibilities may apply, requiring a valid driver's license.
