Senior Cardiovascular Technician

Pay: $21.49 - $27.94 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Join our dedicated team as a Senior Cardiovascular Technician, where you'll play a vital role in patient care by performing electrocardiograms (ECG's), stress testing, and monitoring cardiac data. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional healthcare and improve lives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ECG's and stress tests across various specialties and assist new hires and student interns in their training.
• Lead the team in addressing complex issues and ensuring productivity and quality management.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding the needs of complex patients and analyze data from cardiac monitors.
• Oversee the quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical equipment used in the department.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Certifications: Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), Certified EKG Technician (CET), NCET, or other equivalent certifications.
• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cardiovascular technology.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required prior to start date.
