Senior Bridge Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in leading the design and analysis of bridge structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and enhancing transportation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on innovative design solutions and project management.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of bridge structures using advanced engineering software.
• Conduct structural analysis and load rating assessments for various bridge types.
• Ensure all designs comply with AASHTO standards and relevant design codes.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Perform geotechnical assessments and provide input on site conditions for bridge projects.
• Oversee construction management activities to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments for proposed bridge projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical issues and best practices.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in bridge engineering or structural design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SAP2000 software.
• Strong understanding of load rating analysis and environmental impact assessment.
• Experience with project management and construction management practices.
• Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel structures design.
• Knowledge of transportation engineering principles and geotechnical engineering.
