Senior Assistant Store Manager

Overview

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and managing merchandising and inventory control in adherence with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest services excellence and support store operations under the direction of the Store Manager.
• Develop staff and maintain operations to maximize sales and profitability.
• Control expenses, shrinkage, and manage merchandising and inventory in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Employment details

This position will work up to 38 hours per week. The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Prior retail and/or management experience required.
• Ability to perform physical duties as described.
