Senior Application Developer - SAP Solutions

Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Application Developer serves as a thought leader in the Plan and Make space, focusing on business planning, inbound logistics, production, and transportation management. You will collaborate with business leaders, design and configure software applications, and ensure their integration and implementation. With minimal supervision, you'll perform complex software application testing, quality assurance, and configuration to guarantee a smooth implementation of new software and updates.

Key Accountabilities

• SAP Requirements Solutioning: Capture and analyze business requirements. Research and provide solution alternatives and implement preferred recommendations.
• SAP Application Configuration Management: Build complex application configurations to meet user and business requirements, while identifying improvements to application support processes and procedures.
• SAP Application Deployment: Conduct design, testing, and deployment of new developments, updates, or fixes for application releases.
• User Communication & Support: Maintain open communication with users to address complex application support requests and needs.
• Application Support: Perform complex technical support activities to achieve business outcomes.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with multi-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business partners to ensure solutions align with standards and project goals.
• Workstream Leadership: Represent Operations workstream to project leadership; plan staffing and budget; coach, develop, and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience, typically reflecting 5 years or more.

Preferred Experience:

• Professional experience with functional and technical configuration in SAP, including SAP-IBP, MM, and PP.
• Proven experience in SAP within the Plan and Make space and understanding of end-to-end process integrations.
• Confirmed stakeholder management abilities, including presenting to and influencing executive leaders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
