Senior Application Developer - Boomi Specialist

Job Purpose and Impact

We are looking for a skilled Boomi Developer with in-depth hands-on experience in UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM). This role is crucial for designing, developing, and maintaining seamless integrations between UKG Pro WFM and other enterprise applications, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange. The ideal candidate will be proactive and ready to support various workstreams in our ongoing Workforce Management (WFM) initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

• Boomi Platform Expertise: Develop and maintain integrations using Boomi AtomSphere. Configure and manage Boomi Atom or Cloud environments while applying best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Maintain UKG Boomi Professional Developer Certification.
• UKG System Knowledge: Integrate with UKG Pro WFM. Understand UKG data structures, objects, templates, APIs, and web services (REST/SOAP). Manage UKG credentials and permissions for integration tasks effectively.
• Integration Architecture and Design: Define integration objectives, scope, and data exchange requirements. Design and implement data mapping and transformation logic, conducting thorough testing and validation in non-production environments to interpret and manage data flows, schemas, and integration logic.
• Security and Compliance: Securely manage credentials with strategies such as OAuth2.0, token refresh, and API key management, ensuring compliance with data security standards and regulations.
• Monitoring and Support: Implement error handling and monitoring tools within Boomi, setting up alerting mechanisms to ensure timely issue resolution utilizing UKG connectors and APIs for seamless interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, typically requiring 5 or more years.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• UKG Boomi Professional Developer Certification.
• 3+ years of experience in integration development using UKG Boomi.
• Hands-on experience in Boomi for UKG-Pro, specifically in building and enhancing integrations for Person Import, Payroll Exports, Custom Reports, and Extensions to update UKG Pro WFM data.

This position offers a salary between $95,000 and $150,000, dependent on location, certifications, education, and experience. The expected compensation may be adjusted for geographic differentials. Additionally, this role is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.
