Seeking Caregiver in Meggett/ Hollywood. Weekends 5-10 hour shifts

Caregiver Position

Looking for experienced caregivers to join our home care family. Specific need: Meggett and Hollywood SC, Johns Island SC Weekend caregiver, 5-10 hour shifts.

Job Summary: The Caregiver provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.

Essential Functions: Seeking an experienced caregiver:

• Personal Care: Provide assistance with basic activities of daily living, provide companionship, may include: bedbaths, changing briefs, hygiene care, etc.
• Transfers: Provide assistance transferring from bed to chair, using mechanical hoyer; provide standby assistance; provide transferring assistance.
• Companion/Sitter/Household Management: Provide companionship and respite services for family; perform homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
• Medication Assistance Services (with RN supervision and delegation)

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

• High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
• 12 months plus direct experience.
• Helping disposition.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
