Security Technician

As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing security systems, including video, access controls, intrusion detection, and gates, among other electronics. You will install video cameras, access panels, sensors, and gates according to manufacturer specifications. Additionally, you will customize security systems to meet the exact needs of customers, assist them with upgrades, expansions, and enhancements, and provide customer service and technical support surrounding proprietary systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair security systems, including video, access controls, intrusion detection, and gates, among other electronics.
• Install video cameras, access panels, sensors, and gates per manufacturer specifications.
• Customize security systems to meet customer needs.
• Assist customers with system upgrades, expansions, and enhancements.
• Provide customer service and technical support for proprietary systems.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of electronics troubleshooting experience.
• 4+ years of low voltage/cable running experience.
• Experience with at least one of the following brands: DMP, Bosch, Hanwha, Axis, Avigilon, Brivo, Kantech, PDK.
• Clean driving record (ability to pass MVR).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with security systems from companies like Securitas, JCI, Johnson Controls, Evron, and ADT Commercial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

- Will be sent to Columbus to obtain any certifications needed paid for by the company
