As a Security Professional Unarmed Retail Mall Patrols in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Your visible presence and routine patrols support a secure environment while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Day Time

Monday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tuesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sunday 08:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the retail environment.
• Assist customers, visitors, and employees with directions and general inquiries as needed.
• Work collaboratively with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
