As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This position is a driving post, so you will spend much of your time patrolling the premises by vehicle, contributing to a secure environment for everyone on site. Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

DayTime Wed 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the location.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to client and Allied Universal requirements.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to help to deter potential threats and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Driving positions are primarily preferred for this post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
