As a Security Professional - Site Screener in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in monitoring and controlling access to the premises. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties and contribute to a welcoming and secure environment. Tue 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

Wed 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

Thur 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

Fri 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and screen individuals entering the government location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific guidelines, including monitoring entry points and controlling access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities or Allied Universal management.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, supporting the well-being of all individuals at the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
