As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols managing access control and providing outstanding customer service and communication. DayTime Mon 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Tue 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Wed 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Thur 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM Fri 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate healthcare and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and screen individuals entering the location verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors in accordance with established procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized entry to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities incidents and/or irregularities observed during the shift.

• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
