As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting personnel and guests with inquiries related to access procedures and site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or breaches of site policies to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Operate access control systems and related technology to maintain an orderly flow of authorized individuals within the location.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
