Job Description

As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol Specialist in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the site. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will engage with personnel and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe for any irregularities or security-related concerns within the facility.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information regarding security-related matters.
• Remain alert and ready to respond to emergencies or alarms as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements, as this is primarily a driving post.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
