As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution setting, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will be the first point of contact for those entering the location, addressing inquiries with professionalism and offering assistance as needed. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the overall security-related needs of the site. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the financial institution to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities observed during patrols.
• Assist with controlling access to the location by monitoring entrances and verifying identification as required.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide a point of contact for employees and visitors.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to address security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
