As a Security Professional - Campus Patrol in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents, documenting details as required by Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and information as needed, promoting a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to the campus community.

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

What We’re Looking For

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• CPR certification is preferred
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Rewards

From the time our Professional Security Guards are hired, generally, excluding some clients and unions, employees are eligible for health and welfare benefits on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. For 401(k) eligibility employees are eligible after 6 months of service.
