As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Bradenton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires both an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license, as you will be primarily driving while on duty. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while enforcing access control procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and/or activities during the shift.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols as required for government facilities.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any emergencies or security-related situations as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
