As a Security Officer in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills will support those on site. Pay Rate: $16.43 / Hour

Day Time Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or potential security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions to visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
