As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the food and beverage location, including access control duties.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain authorized personnel flow.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
