What You'll Do:

• Greet and screen employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the entry point to verify identification and authorization to access the location.
• Monitor and operate access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain records of entries and exits.
• Conduct bag and/or belongings checks as required by site-specific policies.
• Observe for unusual or suspicious behavior and report any security-related incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, answering questions, and delivering information related to access procedures.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and write incident reports as needed for all security-related occurrences.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to carry out security-related procedures and emergency response activities as required by site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
