Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.97 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information, directions, and support related to security-related matters.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to address security-related concerns and maintain a professional presence at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
