As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding to various situations as they arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing outstanding customer service while upholding access control procedures. Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour

DayTime Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity or conditions that could impact the operation of the location and report findings as required.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location, and maintaining logs as directed by site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors to provide information or assistance related to security-related matters.
• Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
