As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, interacting with employees and visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the location using a company or client vehicle. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 10:00 PM - 06:45 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:45 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:45 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols specific to the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter security-related risks and report any irregularities.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries while maintaining a professional presence at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
