As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. In this primarily driving post, you will interact with visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site policies.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as required.
• Support Allied Universal and site management in maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment for all patrons and employees.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address questions, provide directions, and support security-related needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Driving responsibilities are preferred for primarily driving posts.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
