As a Patrol Officer in an automotive manufacturing environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information while maintaining access control procedures.
• Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
