As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, including riding a bike for extended periods. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Sat: 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Sun: 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or any unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees as needed while on patrol.
• Remain alert to the surroundings and report any security-related concerns or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to ride a bike is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
