Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol

As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a leading tech and media environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $22.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following the protocols set for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings within a tech and media environment, addressing situations that may arise in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while observing and reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or any irregularities encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card or applicable state security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
