As a patrol unarmed officer at a leading retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling the premises. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and provide excellent customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or incidents within the location to management and/or law enforcement as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and interacting with visitors and employees as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment for shoppers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid guard card or security license issued by state, county, or city is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
