As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri 06:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 06:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related matters as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the retail setting.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions to visitors as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address questions, concerns, or security-related issues.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
