As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for customers and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service while addressing any security-related concerns. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the property and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Pay Rate: $22.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon 12:00 PM - 11:30 PMTue 12:00 PM - 11:30 PMWed 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Assist with access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
