As a Security Officer - Retail Front Desk in Mason, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment at a retail location. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, managing access control, assisting with visitor inquiries, and providing security-related support. By remaining attentive and approachable, you help to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management in accordance with established guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with company and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities at the front desk as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
