As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in a retail distribution environment, you will play a key role in access control and security-related operations. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location to help to deter potential incidents. You will remain highly visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and delivery personnel. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

DayTime Sat 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

Sun 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the distribution location.
• Monitor and verify the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or violations of site policies as required.
• Assist visitors, vendors, and/or employees with access-related inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
