Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance needs, or unusual observations to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary, following guidelines established for government facilities.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate concerns or recommendations regarding security-related matters to supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
