As a Security Officer - Unarmed Chemical Patrol in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to various situations as they arise. Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the chemical or petrochemical location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific protocols.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with local authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
