Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all. Your presence and attention to detail help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential issues.
• Document and report any unusual incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with site staff and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
