As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication will help create a welcoming environment for all guests and staff. You will also respond promptly to incidents, support access control procedures, and utilize technology to complete your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for unusual conditions.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, visitors and/or employees regarding security-related matters.
• Assist in managing access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policy.
• Document and report incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as necessary during incident response or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
