As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic retail and mall location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout the premises. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues discovered during patrols to the appropriate personnel or management.
• Assist with crowd management and access control as required by site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support the overall security-related needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
