Pay Rate: $21.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk of a technology-focused location, verifying credentials and providing authorized access as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity according to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of visitor check-ins, deliveries, and other front desk activities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to address inquiries and provide information about site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities by coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management when required.
• Follow all security-related procedures and guidelines unique to the technology, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge management is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
