As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter incidents and respond to security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Sat 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

Sun 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner on site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter prohibited behavior.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
