Job Description

As a Security Officer - Industrial Site in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for everyone onsite. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills will support positive interactions with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while on duty.
• Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
