Job Description

As a Security Officer Industrial Patrol in Kirkland, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your primary responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, engaging professionally with employees and guests while addressing their concerns or questions. Utilizing your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you will document incidents and interact with team members to uphold a positive and secure atmosphere. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and perimeter areas.
• Observe for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to established procedures.
• Assist with controlling access to the premises and monitor entry points as required by site protocols.
• Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or issues to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as needed.
• Support a security-related presence to help to deter unauthorized activities within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
