As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will assist with situations such as restraining individuals when needed. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all individuals in the healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual conditions or concerns.
• Document and report all incidents or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and help to monitor entrances and exits as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response efforts by providing information and assistance to first responders and/or site personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment, including areas such as the morgue, and be able to safely restrain individuals as needed.
• Vaccinations required as per hospital protocols.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
