As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for staff, patients, and visitors, helping to create a welcoming, secure environment. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, verifying credentials, responding to alarms, and providing exceptional customer service. You will utilize technology such as badge systems and computers or tablets as part of your daily tasks. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, patients, and staff in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the healthcare facility.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures for the healthcare location, including protocols for emergencies and visitor management.
• Assist in security-related emergency response activities, remaining calm and using problem-solving skills as needed.
• Provide customer service support by answering inquiries, giving directions, and assisting individuals as appropriate for the location.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site staff to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet hospital or healthcare facility vaccine requirements.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
